I just found that Brett posted a link to the OCS Vista Gadget to put on your sidebar.
Its pretty simple and really just what you need. You can preconfigure it with your own 5 Favorites
There is a Top 5 but i dont have any yet
And last if you click on that phone up in the right corner you will get a popup with your voicemail in and if you click them it will open OWA and you can listen to them.
There is also a nice little inbox gadget for your outlook that you could add
