List all #OCS users that are:

Enabled

get-wmiobject -class MSFT_SIPESUserSetting | Where-Object {$_.Enabled -eq $True}

UCEnabled

get-wmiobject -class MSFT_SIPESUserSetting | Where-Object {$_.UCEnabled -eq $True}

or whatever..

Just look in the output and change the Where-Object field to something that you want to search for.

Can easily be outputted to a csv or html for further data processing.

#Lync and KB2419640

There are some reports going on that KB2419640 causes issues with Lync.

The error is “Cannot read topology. Verify that the topology data is accessible” from the Management Shell.

So you might want to hold on that on a bit until its verified.

Explanation: Installation of #Lync Server 2010 Standard Edition server on computers that have multiple processor groups is not supported.

A lot of people have asked me lately if Lync Standard only use one processor?

The short answer: No, it can use multiple processors, so its not what it sounds like.

Full explanation, processor groups are a Windows Server Datacenter edition feature (see http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/2008-dc.aspx under Dynamic Hardware Partitioning.

This is not meant to indicate in any way that Standard Edition will only work on a server with a single processor.  Processor GROUPS and multiple processors are two different things, and the wording is a bit confusing. Hopefully the documentation regarding this will get updated soon.

Trend spotting #CUCM VS #Lync

Just some interesting trends….

I will let the stats talk, for this first picture.

image

But the most irritating thing is that Norway tops the list, that really bugs me because they are way ahead of us in Sweden thanks to those “#¤#!#(E% operators wont get their….

image

But I might not know how to read the stats, BUT all the Scandinavian country’s are represented on the top 10 list…
